Introducing Okey Sokay

In ‘our’ world of young and talented lots comes Dickson Okechukwu Onya aka “Okey Sokay”. Okey who hails from Afikpo North, Ebonyi State, Nigeria was born on the 27th of July. He is endowed with such great talents such that he works as a singer, song writer, Multi-talented instrumentalist, producer/audio engineer and part-so many other things… In fact, I am tempted to call him Jack of all trade, master of all..Having projected his brand into the industry with his debut single, “Repete”, he then followed up with an online release of 2 singles, “Tele’ e” and HSKT an acronym for ‘Head , Shoulder,Knees and Toes.’’ Apart from working on more singles for his debut album, he is undertaking production jobs for fellow artists. His latest effort among many singles to be released is “why”. The song’s theme is taken from John 3:16 and Isaiah 53. Which talks about God’s unfailing and unending love towards us even when we don’t deserve it.

Okey Sokay is an artiste worth watching out for, but for now let’s enjoy his new single titled ‘’Why’’.
